3. Charging the helicopters battery
1. Remove the battery from the battery holder in the landing gear
or open the compartment under the fuselage (see fi g.).
2. Connect the charger cable into the USB socket of the trans-
mitter (on the right bottom) and to the the charging jack of the
battery. Switch on the transmitter: after approx 5 seconds the
green LED on the transmitter begins to fl ash, while the red LED
on the USB connector lights up and the battery icon bar in the
top right of the LCD display starts.
3. The green LED starts to to glow when the battery is fully charged, then remove the plug and
switch the transmitter off.
4. This method of charging takes about 30 minutes.
•
Never allow the helicopter battery to touch or come close to any hot object (open fl ame,
heating radiator), otherwise there is a risk of explosion.
•
Store the helicopter battery in dry indoor conditions.
•
Never strike the battery with a hard object, as this could damage the cell.
•
Do not dismantle the LiPo battery.
•
The battery must be charged under supervision on a noncombustible base.
