This feature automatically shuts down the
system into Sleep Mode or Hibernation Mode
when there is no input or hardware access for a

A microprocessor in the computer's intelligent
power supply detects the battery's charge and

calculates the remaining battery capacity. It also
protects electronic components from abnormal
conditions, such as voltage overload from an AC
adaptor.

read/write head to a safe position in order to

This function automatically locks the optical disc
drive eject button if the computer detects any
vibration or other shocks while running on the
battery.
This function prevents the disc tray from opening
even if the eject button is pushed unexpectedly.
