3. The Import Virtual Machine dialog appears. In the Location box and the Settings
section, change the settings as follows. Then click Import button.
Location: C:\Virtual Machine\WS08R2\
Settings: Click the Copy the virtual machine (create a new unique ID) radio button.
Select the Duplicate all files so the same virtual machine can be imported
again check box.
NOTE
If you import the virtual machine without selecting the Duplicate all files so the
same virtual machine can be imported again check box, the files in the folder
specified in the Location box are directly used.
If the files in "C:\Virtual Machine\WS08R2" are not backed up, the virtual machine
cannot be restored to the initial status. We recommend that you select the
Duplicate all files so the same virtual machine can be imported again check
box when you import the virtual machine.
4. When import is completed, virtual machine HITACHI_VM_WS08R2 is added under
Hyper-V Manager.
