APPENDIX B SETUP PROCEDURE WHEN BUILDING A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT (FOR Windows Server® 2008 R2 ONLY)
(4) Import of a virtual machine
Perform the following procedure to import a virtual machine.
NOTE
When you discard an existing virtual environment and configure a new virtual
environment, delete the existing virtual machine from Hyper-V Manager and then
import the new virtual machine.
When you delete a virtual machine, make sure you delete the virtual hard disk file.
The virtual hard disk file is the following by default:
"C:\Users\Public\Documents\Hyper-V\Virtual Hard
Disks\HITACHI_VM_WS08R2.vhd"
1. Click Start button. Click Administrative Tools and then Hyper-V Manager.
2. In the Actions pane, click Import Virtual Machine.
