Adjusting speaker fader
Fade control allows you to adjust the sound
distribution between the front and rear
speakers. Push the "AUDIO" button
repeatedly until the display reads "FADE."
Push the "+" side of the "VOL" button to
shift the sound to the front speakers, and
push the "-" side to shift the sound to the
rear speakers.
NOTE: Illuminated bars in the display show
relative levels of bass and treble and
positions of speaker balance and fader
functions after adjustments are made,
then revert to volume level set.

How to insert a tape

Your cassette tape player is equipped with
power loading. Once you insert a tape and push
slightly (with the open edge to the right), the
loading mechanism draws the tape the rest of
the way in and play will begin after a
momentary tape tightening process. Display
indicates "M" (for metal/CrO
playing.
NOTE: A cassette tape can be loaded with the
ignition on whether or not the radio
power is one.

How to locate a desired track on the tape

There are four ways to quickly locate a desired
selection on the tape. You can use the fast
forward, rewind, "SEEK" or "SCAN" function.
