Make V-Chip settings*
Lock specific TV contents to avoid others
from watching it. To access locked contents,
you need to enter your V-Chip pincode after
which all locked contents will be available
until you switch off the TV. The default
setting is 0000. Restriction of access in the
ATSC tuner and the TV tuner is set
independently of each other, see also p. 29.
Set up personal preferences*
Set up your personal preferences, such as
menu language. When you select a preferred
language for audio, this language will be
used when available from the programme
provider.

*Korea
The 'V-CHIP' menu is not available in Korea.
V-Chip
To change settings in the 'V-CHIP' menu, enter the V-Chip pincode.

*Korea
In Korea only 'MULTI-TRACK SOUND', 'DIGITAL OUTPUT' and 'VERSION
INFORMATION' are available.
Daylight saving
'DAYLIGHT SAVING' only works, if the programme provider's daylight
saving flag is set to 'ON' and 'DAYLIGHT SAVING' is set to 'YES'.
Restrict access to particular channels or rated contents and enter information
on the current terrestrial and cable setup.

Select whether to use daylight saving or not and set the local
information for the clock
Select the audio language to be used, if available from the
programme provider, and select the sound output
Select the language to be used in menus
See the current ATSC tuner version, model and release date
NOTE! If you have forgotten your V-Chip pin-
code, enter the 'V-CHIP' menu and key in 9999.
This allows you to enter a new code.
