In Case of Difficulty

If you encounter a problem, please review the
items in the following checklist. This guide will
help you isolate the problem if the unit is at
fault. Otherwise, make sure the rest of your
system is properly connected or consult your
authorized Alpine dealer.
Initial Turn-on After
Installation
Cause and Solution
Head unit is not on: Turn the head unit on.
Ground wire is disconnected or defective:
Check for continuity with an ohmmeter
between PXA-H600's Ground terminal and a
known chassis ground point.
Battery wire is disconnected or defective:
Check for approximately + 12 volts between
PXA-H600's Battery and Ground terminals.
Blown Fuse: Check PXA-H600's 3A Fuse,
located near the Battery terminal. If it is
blown, replace it with an identical one. If the
new fuse blows immediately, then check all
the wiring connections. If no fault is found,
consult your Alpine dealer.

the PXA-H600 is disconnected or defective:
Check for + 12 volts between PXA-H600's
Remote-on connector and ground connector
with the head unit on.
The volume level of the subwoofer or
speakers is too low. Increase the volume
level of the subwoofer or gain level of the
amplifier, then perform the Auto Adjustment
again.
The microphone cable is defective. Consult
your Alpine dealer.
The master volume control is set at "0"
position. Increase the volume level and
perform the Auto Adjustment again.
