Basic Operation
Before Performing Automatic
Adjustments
The state-of-the-art DSP technology used in the
PXA-H600 enables it to correct many of the
anomalies found in today's vehicle installations.
In order to effectively take advantage of this
unique technology, please follow the operating
procedures as described below.
After making all the proper connections
according to the installation manual, set the
power amps and head unit per instructions
below. Confirm that all outputs (for front, rear
and subwoofer) are working properly. If the
subwoofer is not active, the automatic adjust-
ment feature will not work.
Front/Rear/Amp:
Gain = Nominal (Center)
Subwoofer Amp:
Gain = Nominal (Center)
Head Unit:
Balance Fader = Center
Notes:
The PXA-H600 is designed to
obtain the best characteristics when
it is set at the positions shown.
When rear speakers are not
connected to the system, you make
connections as described in the
section "When rear speakers are
not connected" on the Owner's
Manual.
When Step 1 has been performed, move the
vehicle to a quiet place and turn off its engine.
Place the ignition key in the ACC position and
perform the following automatic adjustment
procedure.
