Unit Identifi er Button
This motherboar contains a Unit
Identifier (UID) button. There is
another UID button located on the
control panel. When you push either
UID button, both Rear UID and Front
Panel UID Indicators will illuminate.
Push either button again to turn off
both indicators. These UID indicators
provide easy identifi cation of a system
unit that may be in need of service.
SGPIO
The T-SGPIO1/T-SGPIO2 (Serial
G e n e r a l P u r p o s e I n p u t / O u t p u t )
headers provide a bus between the
SATA controller and the backpane to
provide SATA enclosure management
functions. Connect the appropriate
cable from the backplane to the
T-SGPIO1 header to utilize SATA
management functions on your system.
Likewise, the 3-SGPIO1/3-SGPIO2
headers (H8DCL-6 and H8DCL-6F
serverboards only) provide the same
function between the SAS controller
and the backpane, and have the same
pin defi nitions.
SATA DOM Power Connector
The SATA DOM Power on JWF2 is
used to supply power to SATA Disk-
On-Module (DOM) solid-state storage
devices.
