8. Orient the Left Upper Body Arm (12) and the
Left Link Arm (10) assembly as shown. Apply a
generous amount of the included grease to the
left axle on the Upright (6) and to the axle on
the Left Link Arm. Then, place a Weld Spacer
(89) on the Left Link Arm; orient the Weld
Spacer so that the wide side faces the Left
Link Arm.
Apply a small amount of grease to two Wave
Washers (95). Place one Wave Washer on the
Upright (6) and place the other Wave Washer
on the Left Link Arm (10).
With the help of another person, work the Left
Upper Body Arm (12) onto the axle on the
Upright (6) and the Left Link Arm (10) into the
Left Pedal Arm (8) at the same time.
Attach the Left Upper Body Arm (12) with a
3/8" x 3/4" Patch Screw (104) and a 3/8"
Washer (84). Attach the Left Link Arm (10) with
a 3/8" x 1" Patch Screw (81), a Small Axle
Cover (67), and a 3/8" Washer (84). Tip: If you
have a hard time working the Left Link Arm
all the way into the Left Pedal Arm (8), try
working the Left Link Arm in halfway and
then tightening the 3/8" x 1" Patch Screw to
pull the Link Arm the rest of the way in.
Repeat this step for the Right Upper Body
Arm (13) and the Right Link Arm (11).
9. Attach a Pivot Cap (64) to an Outer Body Arm
Cover (52) with two #8 x 1/2" Screws (91).
Attach the Outer Body Arm Cover (52) to the
Left Upper Body Arm (12) with three #8 x 3/4"
Screws (78).
Repeat this step for the right side of the
elliptical exerciser.
10. Make sure that all parts of the elliptical exerciser are properly tightened. Note: Some hardware may be
left over after assembly is completed. To protect the floor or carpet from damage, place a mat under the
elliptical exerciser.
Plug the power cord into the power socket at the front of the elliptical exerciser (see HOW TO PLUG IN THE
POWER CORD on page 10). IMPORTANT: If the elliptical exerciser has been exposed to cold tempera-
tures, allow it to warm to room temperature before plugging in the power cord. If you do not do this,
the console displays or other electronic components may become damaged.
The ramp will calibrate automatically when the elliptical exerciser is plugged in for the first time.
