ADTRAN IP 700 Series Phones Release Notes 2.4.1
Features and Enhancements
There have been no major features, enhancements, or behavioral changes for Firmware version 2.4.1.

Fixes

This section highlights major bug fixes in Firmware version 2.4.1
• Could not park a call with a status group BLF key after it had been returned by call park return 3 times.
• Intermittently, calls placed on public hold on a SCA/SLA line by one phone could not be retrieved by
other phones.
• When no dial plan was configured, the phone would not use a blank dial plan.
• If syslog was enabled for debugging and a REFER was received from NetVanta ECS, the subsequent
INVITE was not sent.
• Intermittently, calls received on a SLA/SCA line could not be answered.
• In cases where a blind transfer failed or was cancelled, the ADTRAN Phone was not able to transfer the
current call.
• Intermittently, incoming calls on an idle SLA/SCA line were rejected by the phone.
• When a SLA call was retrieved from public hold, the line key label changed to the registration user for
that line.
• Intermittently, SLA/SCA line keys incorrectly showed a busy status.
• If the phone received a 302 Moved Temporarily response requiring a change of destination of an
outbound call, the line key label displayed Unknown instead of the new destination.
• When an apostrophe was present in a field (such as Bob's, Doctor's, etc.), the Personal Directory
contents were truncated following the apostrophe.

Errata

The following is a list of errata that still exist in Firmware version 2.4.1.
• During heavy call volume, a call inbound to a ring group answered by an IP 700 Series phone may have
no audio for a period of 5 to 45 seconds.
• Intermittently, an IP 700 Series phone may be unable to seize a line until rebooted.
• When a call is answered, a second incoming call is ignored, then the first call is put on hold to answer
a third subsequent call. The line key for the first call does not show the on hold icon.
• After ignoring two subsequent incoming calls and answering the third, the softkeys displayed are Dial,
Redial, Pickup, and More. Softkeys while on an active call should display Hold, Park, and Endcall.
