BURNER AIR ADJUSTMENT
SHUTTERS iF NECESSARY
Air adjustment shutters for the top and bottom burners
regulate the flow of air to the flmnes.

The shutter for tile bottom (oven) bm'ner is near tile back

To adjust the flow of air to either burner, loosen the
P_ps head screw and rotate the shutter toward open
or dosed position as needed,
Tile flames for tile top (broil) burner should be stead)
with approximatel} l" blue cones and shoukl not extend
()sit oxer tile edges of tile burner baflle.
To detem_ine if tile bottom burner flames are burning
properly, temove tile oven bottom. Flames should have
appro_mately 1" blue cones and, if range is supplied
with natural gas, should burn with no yellow tipping.
(With most LP gas, small yellow tips at tile end of outer
cones ale n/mnal.) Names shoukl not lift off burner
po*_s. If lifting is observed, gradually reduce air shutter
opening until flames are stabilized.

To remove the oven bottom:
A. Remove tile screws holding down rear of tile oven
bottom.
B. Grasp the oven bottom at finger slots on each side.

enough to clear tile

A. Install tile oven shelves in tile oven and position tile
range where it will be installed.

B. Check fiw letvlness by placing a spirit level or a cup,
partially filled with watel; on one of tile oten shelf es.
If using a spirit level, take two readings--with tile let el
placed diagonally first in one direction and then
the other:
