The oven door must be closed and all controls set correctly for the cycle to work properly.

How to Delay the Start of Cleaning
Make sure the clock shm_s the correct time

[] If _ ot," model has a latch, latch
the dora:
[] Touch the
SELFCLEAN pad.
[] Using the + or - or the number pads,
enter rite desired clean time.
[] Touch the DELAYSTART pad. The
earliest start time _ou can set will
appear in the display.
[] /Jsing the ÷ or - or the number pads,
enter the time of day you want the
clean cycle to start.
[] Touch
the START pad.
[] When the LOCKED DOOR light is off,
slide the latch handle to the left as Ira"
as it will go and open the dora: If )ore"
ranoe does not haxe a latch, the door
will tmlock automatically.
::Ji:: The words LOCKDOOR will flash and the
oven control will signal if you set the
clean cycle and toxget to close the oven
door or torget to latch the door OIT
models with a latch.
::Ji:: To stop a clean cycle, touch the
CLEAR/OFFpad. _]teil the LOCKEDDOOR
light goes off indicating the oven has
cooled below the locking temperature,
tmlatch the door (on models with a
latch) and open the dora:
On models without a door latch, the door
locks automatically: The display will show
the start time. It will not be possible to open
the oven door tmfil the tempemtm'e drops
below the lock temperature and the
LOCKEDDOOR light goes off.
The oven shuts off atmmmticallv when the
clean cycle is complete.
After a Clean Cycle
Y)u mm notice some white ash in the o_en.
_ipe it up with a damp ch)th atter the
o_en cools.
ff white spots remain, remove them with a soap-
filled scouringpad and rinse thoroughlywith
a vinegarand water mlkture.
These deposits are usually a salt residue
that cannot be removed bv the clean cycle.
If the oven is not clean after one clean
c_cle repeat the cxcle,
iJi:: Y ou cannot set the oven fi)r cooking until
the oxen is cool enough for the door
to unh)ck.
_: XA]tile fire oven is sel6deaning, you can
touch the TIMER/CLOCKpad to display
the time of din'. To return to the clean
c()tmtdown,
touch the COOKINGTIME pad.
::Ji:: If the shelves become hard to slide,
apply a small }llllOtlnt oJ[vegetable oil or
cooking oil to a paper towel and wipe
the edges ot the oven shelves with the
paper towel.
