MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Beforeperforming any type of maintenance/service, d isengageall controls
andstop the engine.Wait until all moving partshavecometo a complete
stop. Disconnect sparkplug wire and groundit againstthe engine to
preventunintendedstarting.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
CheckingEngine Oil
Beforelubricating, repairing,or inspecting, disengageall controlsandstop
engine.Wait until all movingparts havecometo acompletestop.
NOTE: C heck the oil levelbeforeeachuseto besurecorrect o il levelismaintained.
Whenaddingoil to the engine,referto viscosity chartbelow.Engine oil capacity
is1100ml(approx.37oz.).Donot over-fill.Use a4-stroke,or anequivalent h igh
detergent, p remiumquality motoroil certifiedto meetor exceed U.S. a utomobile
manufacturer's r equirements f orservice classification SG, S F. M otoroilsclassified
SG, S F will showthisdesignation on thecontainer.
1.
Remove t he oil filler cap/dipstkkandwipethe dipstickclean.
2.
Insertthe cap/dipstick intothe oil filler neck,but do NOT screwit in.
3.
Remove t he oil filler cap/dipstick. I flevelis low,slowlyaddoil until oil level
registers betweenhigh(H)andlow (L).SeeFigure 19.
4.
Replace a ndtighten cap/dipstick firmly beforestartingengine.
Changing EngineOil
NOTE: Change t he engineoil after the first 5 hours of operationandoncea season
or every50 hours thereafter.

Drainfuel fromtank byrunningengineuntil the fueltank isempty.Besure
fuelfill capissecure.

Place suitableoil collectioncontainer u nderoil drainplug.

Usedoil isa hazardouswaste product. Dispose o f usedoil properly. Donot
discardwith householdwaste. Checkwithyour localauthorities or Sears
Service Centerfor safedisposal/recyclingfacilities.
5.
Reinstall the drainplugandtighten it securely.
