clip.SeeFigure 12.Thetoolisdesigned to clearachuteassembly o f iceand
snow. T hisitemisfastened with acabletie at the factory.Cutthe cable tie before
operatingthesnowthrower.
Neveruseyour handsto clearaclogged chuteassembly.Shutoff engine
and remainbehind handles until all movingpartshavestoppedbefore
usingthe clean-outtool to clearthe chuteassembly.
Drift Cutters
1.
Remove t he two screws andwingknobsthatsecure eachdrift cutter,and
remove themfromthe sides of the augerhousing.
2.
Turnthe drift cuttersaround andpositionthemasshownin Figure 13to the
outside of the augerhousing.
3.
Attachthe drift cutterswith the screws andwingknobsremoved earlier. S ee
Figure 14.
TirePressure
Under any circumstance do not exceedmanufacturer'srecommendedpsi.
Equal t ire pressureshouldbe maintained at all times.Excessive pressure
when seatingbeadsmaycause tirelrim assemblyto burstwith force
sufficient to causeseriousinjury. Referto sidewall of tire for recommended
pressure.
Thetiresareover-inflated forshippingpurposes. Check t he tire pressure b efore
operatingthesnowthrower.Refertothe tire sidewall for tire manufacturer's
recommended p sianddeflate(orinflate)the tiresasnecessary.
NOTE: Equal t ire pressure i sto bemaintained at all timesforperformance purposes.
