ADJUSTING
TORQUE
See Figure 6, page L
There are twenty-four
torque indicator settings located on
the front of the screwdriver.
Select the gear train setting to high (Position 2) or low
(Position
1) speed.
Rotate the adjusting ring to the desired setting.

For driving small screws (Position
1 or 2)

5 - 8
For driving screws into soft material
(low speed - Position
1)
°
9 - 12
For driving screws into soft and hard
materials (low speed - Position 1)
13 - 16
For driving screws into hard wood
(low speed - Position
1)
17- 24
For driving large screws
(low speed - Position
1)
NOTE: During use, if the screwdriver stalls and begins to
make a clicking sound, and the LED worklight pulses on
and off, you should release the switch trigger immediately.
This indicates that you have overloaded the tool. Depress
the switch trigger again to resume operation.
To avoid this situation, avoid forcing the tool and refer to
the settings described above to be sure you are using the
screwdriver for its intended application.
LED WORKLIGHT
See Figure 7, page i.
The screwdriver has a built-in LED worklight. This feature
is convenient when working in close or tight areas where
additional light is needed. Whenever the switch trigger is
depressed, the LED worklight will illuminate.

When servicing, use only identical
replacement parts. Use of any other parts could
create a hazard or cause product damage.

Always wear eye protection with side
shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1 during
maintenance. If operation is dusty, also wear a dust
mask.
GENERAL
MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.
Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

Do not at any time let brake fluids,
gasoline, petroleum-based
products, penetrat-
ing oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts.
Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic
which may result in serious personal injury.
STORAGE
Before storing, always remove the battery pack from the
battery compartment.

PREPARATION
FOR RECYCLING
WARNING:
Upon removal, cover the battery
pack's terminals with heavy-duty adhesive tape.
Do not attempt to destroy or disassemble battery
pack or remove any of its components.
Lithium-ion
batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.
Also, never touch both terminals with metal objects
and/or body parts as short circuit may result. Keep
away from children. Failure to comply with these
warnings could result in fire and/or serious injury.
