The oven temperature is too high to set a self clean operation. Allow the range to cool
and reset the controls.
Oven controls improperly set. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section.
A self clean cycle cannot be started if the lockout feature is activated.
"Crackling" or"popping" * This is the sound of the metal heating and cooling during both the cooking and Self
sound. Clean functions. This is normal.
Excessive smoking during a * Excessive soil. Press the CLEAR OFF button. Open the windows to rid the room of smoke.
