Fault tracing

Warm up time is unusually long

• Use a multimeter to check whether any of the
elements is burnt out. To access the elements,
remove the front panel of the machine.
• Lime deposits can reduce the output of the
elements. Remove the deposits when
necessary. Use the deliming agent in
accordance with supplier instructions.

Replacing the element

• Shut-off the main switch and make sure that
there is no electrical supply to the machine.
• No the positions of the connections and
disconnect those connections to the element.
• On element, unscrew the nut on the middle
screw and turn the screw a quarter turn
counterclockwise. The dolly on the inner side of
the element is turned at the same time allowing
the element to be disconnected.
• Place the new element in position, turn the
screw a quarter turn clockwise and tighten the
nut. Restore connections to the element.
• Fill the machine and check that there is no
leakage at the element.
