Changing the default
settings (setup)
The factory default settings can be
changed to suit your personal prefer-
ences and usage.
In the stop mode, press
"SET UP".
The default setting menu
appears.
Note: This operation cannot be performed in the
PRE-STOP mode.
Use the " 8 " or " 9 "
key to make the selec-
tion, then press
"ENTER".

the setting item, refer to the
pages indicated on the table
below.
Item Description
LANGUAGES Set the audio language, subtitle
language and menu language.
TV SCREEN Set the screen size according to
the type of TV monitor being used.
COUNTRY Set the country code when
CODE setting the rating level.
RATING Set the rating level (parental
LEVEL lock).
DIGITAL OUT Set the digital output.
DISPLAY Set whether the front panel's
LED indicators are on or off.
CUSTOM Set the DVD scan mode and
SETUP Ai-NET setting.
Note: When the settings are changed, the old
settings are overwritten. Make a note of the
current settings before making changes.
The settings are not cleared even when the
vehicle's battery is disconnected.
