Descriptions
The System Log has been updated as follows:
•
Separate buffers for static and dynamic logs
•
Entries in the static log buffer are cleared at
reset or reload, while entries in the dynamic
log are preserved
•
Log buffer size cannot be changed. The log
buffer size is set at 3800 lines
•
A show logging command is now available
at the monitor level for Active and Standby
Management Processors
Feature description
Allows you to configure a Brocade device to intercept and display the
contents of CDP packets. This feature is useful for learning device and
interface information for Cisco devices in the network.

Enables Foundry devices to advertise themselves to other Foundry devices on
the network.
