    New Feature Descriptions Enhanced Optical ICL Topology Support for DCX8510 FOS v7.0.1 supports the following enhanced topologies using optical ICLs: Support for up to nine DCX8510 chassis in full mesh configuration using optical ICLs Support for ICL connectivity with up to eight DCX8510 chassis in core-edge topology This increased support delivers massive scalability, significantly reduces cabling complexity, and also makes more ports available for device connectivity.

    FOS Upgrade and Downgrade Special Considerations The DCX/DCX-4S units running any FOS v6.4.x can be non-disruptively upgraded to FOS v7.0.1. This upgrade is non-disruptive to FC traffic only. When loading FOS v7.0.1 to a DCX chassis with FCOE10-24 blades with Brocade Network Advisor v11.1.1/11.1.1a, there is no warning flagging FCoE traffic disruption.
