PHOTOGRAPHY MODE •
Portrait
Use this mode for shots of people. Portrait mode
provides soft-tone images with natural skin
colors.

Auto Flash, Red-Eye Reduction, Forced Flash,
Slow Synchro
Scene ( Landscape )
Use this mode for daytime shots of scenery.
Landscape mode provides crisp, clear shots of
buildings, mountains and other scenery.

Usable Flash Modes
The Flash mode is automatically set to
Suppressed Flash. This setting cannot be
changed.

BLACK AND WHITE

Night Scene
Use this mode for shots taken in the evening or
at night. Night Scene mode gives priority to
slower shutter speeds.

Shutter
Slow shutter speed mode with speeds as slow
as 3 seconds.

Red-Eye Reduction, Forced Flash
Black and white
You can use this option to shoot in black and
white regardless of the type of scene.

Auto flash, Red-Eye Reduction, Forced Flash,
Slow Synchro
With the exception of Black and White
mode, the Macro setting cannot be selected.

PHOTOGRAPHY MODE

Turn the Mode dial to set the mode.
Manual
Manual mode allows you to specify your own
combinations of photography settings.

Press the "MENU/OK" button to display the menu.
See P.58 – 70 for details of the photography
menu.

shown on P.42.
To revert to the factory default settings, use "RESET
ALL". (➡P.92)
