Network setup

Some menus may not appear in the display depending on options or
models. If so, it is not applicable to your machine (see "Menu overview" on
page 30).
You can also use this feature from the SyncThru™ Web Service. Open the
Web browser from your networked computer and type the IP address of
your machine. When SyncThru™ Web Service opens, click Settings >
Network Settings (see "Using SyncThru™ Web Service" on page 286).
• Press (Menu)> Network on the control panel,
• Or press Setup > Machine Setup > Next > Network Setup on the touch
screen.
Option
Selects the appropriate protocol and configure
parameters to use the network environment (see "Setting
IP address" on page 158).
TCP/IP (IPv4)
There are lots of parameters to be set. If you are
not sure, leave as is, or consult the network
administrator.
Selects this option to use the network environment
TCP/IP (IPv6)
through IPv6 (see "IPv6 configuration" on page 170).

option.
You can selects the user authentication for network
802.1x communication. For detailed information consult the
network administrator.
Wi-Fi Selects this option to use the wireless network.
Reverts the network settings to the default values.
Clear Settings
Turn the power off and on after you change this
option.
Network This list shows information on your machine's network

You can set whether to use Ethernet on or off.
Ethernet Port
