5-8 Procedures after Completion of Installation
Installation procedure
1. Log in to the system as a root user.
2. Set the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER to the optical disk drive.
3. Move to the directory where the package of the NEC ESMPRO Agent is stored.
# cd /(mount point)/001/lnx/pp/esmpro_sa/
ESMPRO Agent exists under the "001/lnx/pp/esmpro_sa/".
4. Run the installation script under the directory above.
# sh esminst.sh
5. Eject the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER and restart the system.
TIPS:
To send alert from NEC ESMPRO Agent to NEC ESMPRO Manager, the alert settings
need to be specified with "Alert Setting Functions" after reboot. For more on how to set
alert, refer to "NEC ESMPRO Agent User's Guide" stored in the NEC
EXPRESSBUILDER
