1.2. DESCRIPTION AND DATA

A. Purpose

the PS-7 is a hand-held, head mounted or helmet mounted night

vision system that enables walking, short-range surveillance, map

reading, vehicle maintenance, and administering first aid in both

moonlight and starlight. each unit allows for vertical adjustment (by

using head straps), fore-and-aft adjustment, objective lens focus,

and eyepiece focus. the device is also equipped with an built-in in-

frared light-emitting source.

B. Features

the atn PS-7 has the following important features:

image
