4.2.2 IP Address Setting

Parameters
Description
DHCP Enable
Enable DHCP for NAS-1101 obtaining network settings automatically. However,
you must ensure there is a valid DHCP server in LAN.
Disable DHCP, then the following settings must be manually configured.
IP Address
Designate the NAS-1101's IP Address. This IP Address should be unique in your
network. The default IP Address is 192.168.1.1.
Subnet Mask
Specify a Subnet Mask for your LAN segment. The default value is 255.255.255.0.
Gateway
Specify the gateway IP in your network.
DNS Server
This is the ISP's DNS server IP address that they gave you; or you can specify your
own preferred DNS server IP address.

4.2.3 Superuser/Password Setting

This page allows you to change the username and password which are used to access the web
interface of NAS-1101. Please do not confuse this screen with the following "Share" screen. The user
account created in "Share" screen is for access the storage space of NAS-1101. You should not grant
web access privilege to common users.
