1 GUARANTEE
1.1 Guarantee period
For consumer use: two years from date of pur-
chase.
For professional use: 200 hours or three months,
whichever comes first.
1.2 Extended guarantee
The guarantee period can be extended to a maxi-
mum of 300 hours or 3 years from the date of pur-
chase provided that the prescribed basic services
have been carried out at an authorised Stiga Serv-
ice workshop during the relevant guarantee period.
The services must be verified in the service book.
1.3 Component guarantee, chassis
Faults occurring in the machine's bearing in the ar-
ticulated steering joint, as well as the front and rear
chassis, are covered by a 10 year component guar-
antee from the date of purchase
The guarantee is valid provided that the prescribed
basic services have been carried out at an author-
ised Stiga service workshop during the relevant
guarantee period. The services must be verified in
the service book.
1.4 Exceptions
The warranty does not cover damage due to the
following:
• Neglect by users to acquaint themselves with
accompanying documentation.
• Carelessness.
• Incorrect and non-permitted use or assembly.
• The use of non-genuine spare parts.
• The use of accessories not supplied or approved
by Stiga.
Neither does the warranty cover:
• Wearing components such as blades, belts,
wheels,battery and cables.
• Normal wear.
• Engine and transmission. These are covered by
the engine manufacturer's warranties, with sep-
arate terms and conditions.
The purchaser is covered by the national laws of
each country. The rights to which the purchaser is
entitled with the support of these laws are not re-
stricted by this warranty.
2 SERVICE
2.1 First service
To safeguard the machine's continued operational
safety and performance, a first service must be car-
ried out after 5 hours of operation. The service
should be carried out by an authorised Stiga serv-
ice workshop, but can also be carried out by the us-
er.

2.2 Basic Service
Basic service must be carried out after 200 hours of
operation or every 24 months, whichever comes
first.
Stiga's extended guarantee only applies if a com-
plete basic service is carried out by an authorised
Stiga service workshop within the intervals speci-
fied above.
Service points: see page 21.
2.3 Intermediate service
Intermediate service must be carried out after 100
hours of operation. The service should be carried
out by an authorised Stiga service workshop, but
can also be carried out by the user.

NOTE! The intermediate service is not included in
the basic service, but should be carried out at the
same time as the basic service.
2.4 Oil changes and filter replace-
ments
Oil changes and filter replacements have their own
intervals, but should be carried out in conjunction
with a basic service/intermediate service when the
intervals coincide. This work should be carried out
by an authorised Stiga service workshop, but can
also be carried out by the user.

3 AUTHORISATION STAMP
The authorisation stamp area below is a translation
to the relevant language and must not be used to
write/stamp in. Instead use the authorisation stamp
area, page 27.
