Using VPXImport
21. Click the source IR function in the Unmapped IR Functions list and the target
channel destination in the New IR File Function Order list. Then, click the >>
button to move the highlighted IR function to the channel destination in the
New IR File Function Order list. Repeat this step until all required IR functions
are assigned, and go to the next step. The buttons you can use to organize the
IR file functions and their channels include:

Moves the active IR function from the Unmapped IR
Functions list to the New IR File Function Order list.
<< button
Moves the active IR function from the New IR File Function
Order list to the Unmapped IR Functions list.
Undo button
Redo button
Safe Fill button
File Function Order starting at the number listed in the Safe Start Index.
Reset All button
Unmapped IR Functions list.
22. Click Finish to save the IR file to the database. If the VPXImport dialog box
shown in Figure 28 appears, click OK to approve the power control setting or
Cancel to change the associated channel assignment. Then, go to step 23. This
power control setting is required when you choose the Use Power Control
option in the Control Information dialog box. The VPXpress software program
requires that you assign the power on/off IR control function to channel
number 9 for non-discrete control or channels 27 and 28 for discrete control,
and the program automatically prompts you to approve or change the channel
assignment.
23. When the Enter New IR File Name dialog box (Figure 29) opens, enter the
name of the IR file in the File Identifier field. The IR filename can be up to a
maximum of seven characters. The New File Name field shows the complete
filename including the .IRV or .IRL file extension.
Reverses up to the last 20 operations
Reverses the last Undo operation.
Moves all unmapped IR file functions to the New IR
Moves all assigned IR functions back to the
VPXImport Import Tool Program
