    To ensure the original database is not inadvertently corrupted, the multimedia, audiovisual, and VPXImport program only allows you to edit and delete new models added to the lighting product iterations database.     Copying models You can copy models stored in the database, and modify their configuration to accommodate new product applications. The VPXImport program automatically appends a (Copy X) to the name that you will see in the main window’s list. All model copies appear in bold typeface.

    All new manufacturer names added to the original database appear in the main window in bold typeface. To ensure the original database is not inadvertently corrupted, the VPXImport program only allows you to edit and delete new manufacturer names added to the database.

    The VPXpress program’s database is the depository of all original and new model information you add to it using the VPXImport program. As is the case with most database management systems, it must be cleaned up periodically to ensure it works correctly.
