It is important that the appliance is

not used if there are any signs of

damage, breakages, cracks or dents

on the ceramic surface.

In the event of any damage to the

appliance it must be switched off

immediately and disconnected from the

electricity supply. Contact the Service

Department. Do not use the appliance

until it has been repaired. Continued

use would be dangerous as liquids,

etc, boiling over could penetrate to the

electrical components through any

crack.

Ensure power is not supplied to the

appliance while installation or re-

pair work is being carried out.

Any repairs may only be carried

out by suitably qualified and com-

petent persons to ensure safety. Re-

pairs and other work by unqualified

persons could be dangerous.

While the appliance is under guar-

antee repairs should only be un-

dertaken by a service engineer author-

ised by the manufacturer. Otherwise the

guarantee is invalidated.
