Prestige 630 ADSL USB Modem Chapter 1 Software Setup and Modem Installation This chapter guides you through the process of installing and configuring your software and hooking up your modem. Figure 1-3 Communication Settings Window If you choose RFC 1483 IPoATM Routed LLC or RFC 1483 IPoATM Routed VC, you must use a static IP address from your ISP. After driver and modem installation, refer to the instructions in section 4.2 and configure both the IP Address and the Gateway tabs to use the static IP address from your ISP. -
