Maintaining Your Machine
There are two maintenance kits:
• ADF Maintenance Kit —a replace-
ment ADF feed unit and separa-
tion corona
• Fusing Unit Maintenance Kit —a
replacement fusing unit and trans-
fer roller
Installing the ADF Unit Maintenance Kit
Follow these steps to install the Fus-
ing Unit Maintenance Kit when

document transport roller and
clear the counter.
Only remove the separation corona
when installing the maintenance kit.

Open the ADF cover in the direc-
tion shown.

Push in the feed unit as shown,
then grasp the front part and pull
it out.

Rotate the separation corona stop-
per (green) to the right then re-
move the cover.

na, pull up the green knob. Then
remove the separation corona.
