9. Video File Format Conversion

WMV9 Video Conversion:
Microsoft Windows Media Encoder 9 Series can convert video/MÚSICA into Windows
Media file format, which is a very strong conversion tool. The following will briefly
introduce the conversion process and the steps of use of Windows Media Encoder.
Notes: Computer system requirements:
a. Windows Media Player9 or higher version.
b. DirectX9.
c. Windows Media Encoder9.
You can download these software from the Microsoft website.
Using Windows Media Encoder, you can select the video file with suffixes of WMV, ASF, AVI,
MPG, RM, RMVB and DAT as the source file to be converted.
After the source file to be converted is determined, you can select the conversion wizard,
provided by the software in accordance with different demands, and customize output of
the specifications of conversion file, such as resolution factor, frames, and baud rate, to
meet your requirements.
1) select the menu at the bottom left of Windows: "Start" → "Program (P)" → "Windows
Media" → "Windows Media Encoder" to run Windows Media Encoder. Then select
"Convert a file" item.
2) Select the source file to be converted in the source file column, and select the
destination address and input file name in the output file column.
3) Click next step after typing the file name of output file, and select "Windows Media
