Useful Features

Playback

You can operate the functions on this page
using the supplied remote control.

Slow

The slow function allows you to play back
images in slow motion.
During playback, press the SLOW button (E).
To return to normal playback, press the PLAY
button (D).
Notes:
• To protect the tape, the VIEWCAM automatically
returns to normal playback if it is left in Slow
mode for more than 10 minutes.
• If the slow function is used when connected to a
TV, noise will appear and distort the playback
image.

Frame Advance

The frame advance function allows you to play
back still images frame by frame.
During still playback, press the F. ADV/STROBE
button (
).
• Each time you press the button, the picture
advances one frame.
To return to normal playback, press the PLAY
button (D).

Strobe Playback

The strobe playback function allows you to
quickly play back a series of still images.
SLOW button
During normal playback, press the F. ADV/
STROBE button (
PLAY button
• The VIEWCAM plays back one frame at a time at
approximately 1/4 sec. intervals.
F. ADV/STROBE
To return to normal playback, press the PLAY
button
button (D).
Notes:
• The sound is off during slow, frame advance and
strobe playback.
• If you use the slow or frame advance function
with the tape recorded in LP mode, the picture
may advance several frames at a time.
