Current Time
The Current Time field indicates the current
SMPTE time. This time is only updated when
incoming time code stops.
Name
The Name field indicates the name of the
currently running automation session. It can
be used to modify the session name.
To modify an automation session name:
1. Follow the instructions on page 16 to
access the Automation Session Setup
screen.
2. Use the arrow keys on the LARC2 to select
the Name field.
3. Press the ENTER button on the LARC2 to
access a text editor similar to that shown
in Figure 15 (page 15).
4. Enter the new automation session name
using one of the following methods:
•
Type the name on the external
keyboard attached to the LARC2.
•
Use the arrow keys or the joystick on
the LARC2 to select the desired
character on the text editor, then
press the ENTER button on the LARC2
to enter that character. Repeat this
process until the entire name has been
entered.
5. Save the new automation session name
using one of the following methods:
•
Locate the Enter button on the
external keyboard attached to the
LARC2, then press it twice.
•
Use the arrow keys on the LARC2
to select the
bottom of the text editor, then press
the ENTER button on the LARC2.

screen shown in Figure 10 (page 11) to
modify session bank names.

Notes
The Notes field contains notes about the
currently running automation session. It can
be used to enter notes about the session,
which are useful to identify the session in the
future.
To enter notes about an automation session:
1. Follow the instructions on page 16 to
access the Automation Session Setup
screen.
2. Use the arrow keys on the LARC2 to select
the NOTES field.
3. Press the ENTER button on the LARC2 to
access a text editor similar to that shown
in Figure 15 (page 15).
4. Enter the new automation session notes
using one of the following methods:
•
Type the notes on the external
keyboard attached to the LARC2.
•
Use the arrow keys or the joystick on
the LARC2 to select the desired
character on the text editor, then
press the ENTER button on the LARC2
to enter that character. Repeat this
process until all notes have been
entered.
5. Save the new automation session notes
using one of the following methods:
•
Locate the Enter button on the
external keyboard attached to the
LARC2, then press it twice.
•
Use the arrow keys on the LARC2
to select the
bottom of the text editor, then press
the ENTER button on the LARC2.
