Most settings cannot be changed once the
automation session begins. Word clock source
and I/O routing remain adjustable during the
session. Word clock rate can also be changed
within the selected single or double-speed
family (i.e. the setting can be changed
between 44.1 and 48kHz or between 88.2 and
96kHz, but not between 44.1/48kHz and
88.2/96kHz).
When a new automation session is created, the
Automation Session Setup screen shown in
Figure 16 (page 17) will display. See page 16
for more information.
To create a new automation session:
1. Make sure the 960L is in the desired
state. Remember, most configuration
settings cannot be changed once the
session begins.
2. Follow the instructions in the previous
column to access the Automation Menu.
3. Select the New Session option.
Automation Package Addendum
SESSION LIBRARY
Selecting the Session Library option accesses
the Automation Session Library screen shown
in Figure 10 (above). This screen can be used
to:

Open an existing automation session
•
Clear session banks
•
Delete automation sessions
•
Format disks
•
Archive automation sessions to disk
•
Restore automation sessions stored on disk
•
Name session banks
•
Enter session bank notes
Automation sessions are organized into 10
banks. Each bank contains 10 sessions, for a
total of 100 sessions.
To access the Automation Session Library
screen:
1. Follow the instructions on page 10 to
access the Automation Menu.
2. Select the Session Library option.
