Connect the power cord to standard household current. using a three-pronged outlet.
Afier assernbfy of your PC.3000 becorne farniliar rvith the Grab and Cor!! s)'stem hefore placing
u eights on the balbell.
Assume a normal staning position lor your desiled tiee rveight exercise.
Rotate the barbell so that the Touch Sensor Strip embedded in the barbell is touching your
fingeltips. It is necessarr 10 nraintain skin contact rvith thc touch sensol strip throughout your free
\\ eight exercise. Once I ou h:rr e grasped tlte Toirch Sensol Stlip. r ou rr ill lrcar a soti
'click'.
\\ hile stili glasping the barbell. lift it a minimunr o{'ll:''. using an even riprrald Iifting rnotion. This
upuard movr-rlent ri ill clisengage the lockirlg nrechanism. I1' you har e pel'fbrrncd this step
colrectly. the barbell u ill norl be under your contlol. the cablcs will move freell' over the pulleys
and the Slidel Knuckles lill slide smoolhly up and dosn the Guide Posts. You can now satbll
perforrn anl tiee leight cxercise without the need of a spotter. Sirnpll Grab and GorN'l

misuse of the PC 3000 u ill void arry and all rvarranties.
10. Once you are tamiliar s ith tlre Grab and Gor'\l systern. position barbcll in the proper starting
position for your desired erercise.
ll. \Iake cer-tain the barbell is lc'rel before loading s'eight plates. l.-evel the barbell b1 raising up one
end ofthe barbell until level. (The PC3000 is designed with a ratcheting I'eature that allows it to be
manually raised fronr side to side.) Or. level the barbell bl grasping it riith both hands. rnaking
sure the fingeftips make contact with the touch sensor strip. L,ifi the barbel! uprvard a minimum of
'l" to release it from the locking mechanisrn and adjust barbeli until level. Once the barbell is level,
release your grip on the Touch Sensor Strip to engage the locking mechanism. Load rveights
cvenly on both sides ofthe barbell.
12. Secure all s'cight plates rvith a spring clip or krcking collar. You are non readr to begirr lour li'ee
u eight excrc ise routine.
13. Never attempt to lili rnore u,eights than you can saf'el1'handle.
Never put more than 750 lbs on the
Barbell.
14. Befole lemoving rveight plates from weightecl barbell" make sure the barbell is irr a level position.
