The Advanced options are described in the following table:
What it means
Replaces the repeat mode icon in the OSD with either the
bit rate (DVD-Video or DVD-Audio discs), or the number of
error corrections made (CDs).
Includes diagnostic displays in the display options.
Specifies whether the DVD/CD player is controller, not
controller, or set automatically.
For multi-room setups.
Choose Never on, On out of Standby, On when source
is internal, or Always on to determine when the
internal fan is active.
Select this if the DVD/CD player is not connected to a
display to navigate DVD-Audio discs in the same way as
CDs.
Allows a 2-channel player to access multi-channel groups
on DVD-Audio discs and produce a 2-channel downmix.
Choose priority to main output for the highest possible
audio quality on the main output, or aux output always
available to ensure there is always a version of the
content on the auxiliary output.
Choose Compression off for no compression, Quiet
boost to increase the level of quiet sounds, Loud cut to
reduce the level of loud sounds, or Compression max for
both Quiet boost and Loud cut.
