Audio connections
Before
making
connections,
be sure to check that the
component's
power
and the unit's
main power
is off.
Connecting
the speakers
This unit is equipped with speaker output jacks for
connection to the speaker system (not supplied} specially
designed for use with this unit. Refer to the illustrations
below when making connections to the speaker terminals
on this unit.

Control cord connection
When control cord connections are made, remote control
operation of connected PIONEER components
that bear
the []I logo mark is done through the remote sensor on
this unit.
When the connection is made to the CONTROL IN jack
on another unit, the remote sensor of that component
will
no longer receive signals. Point the remote control unit of
the connected compoeeet
at the remote coetrol sensor
on this unit to control.
Notes
• Make sure the power is turned off when making
connections.
• Please complete all component
connections before
making control cord connections.

Note
When making speaker connections,
be sure to match the
polarities (+ and -) of the speaker terminals on this unit and the
corresponding
terminals on the speakers. If the polarity is
reversed, the sound will be unnatural and lack bass Coil the
speaker cable with the supplied ferrlte core and connect the
ends to Rch (connect the ferrite core as close as possible to the
Rch speaker output jack).
