[] Aperture and zoom
The aperture value (finumber) indicates the lens brightness. Large apertures (expressed by small
flnumbers) let more light into the camera, and small apertures (large f numbers) let less light.
The aperture value of this camera zoom lens can be changed depending on the zoom position.
When zooming to the wide angle position and telephoto zoom position, the aperture values are f/
2.8 and f/5.6, respectively.
• When Fixed aperture (_106) is set to On, zooming can be performed with minimum changes
in the aperture value.

When the subject is too bright, set Built-in ND filter in the setup menu (_ 104) to reduce the light
and shoot.
