Basic Operations
Using Menus (the MENUButton)
When the MENU button is pressed while the shooting screen or playback screen is
displayed,the menu for the current mode isdisplayed.Once the menu is
displayed, various settings can be changed.

Displays the settings that can be changed for the current shooting mode (_29),
Depending on the current shooting mode, the tab icon that is displayed will be different,
• I_1 (auto): Tabs are not displayed,
• _ (scene): Scene menu tab (_39)
• _ (special effects): Special effects menu tab (_48)
• 1_ (low noise night): Low noise night menu tab (_50)
• P, S, A, M: Shooting menu tab (_54)
• Ul, U2, U3: Ul, U2, U3 specialized menu tab (_58), shooting menu tab on the second
level
• _ (movie): Movie menu tab (_101)

Displays the settings that can be changed for the current playback mode (_89).
Depending on the current playback mode, the tab icon that is displayed will be different.
