Assembling
the Tongue
Attaching
the Jack Stand
Thejackstand is shippedinthe transportposition.
1. Removethespringclip and clevispin and pivot
thejackstandtowardsthe groundto the operating
position.
2. Securethe jack stand in positionwith the clevispin
and springclip. See Figure3-1.

hexbolts and hex nutsfrom the tank bracket.See
Figure3-2.

2. Align theholes in the tonguewith the holesin the tank
bracketand securewith hardwarejust removed.See

NOTE:Highpressurehose mustbe abovethetongue
assembly.
Connecting
Cylinder
to Beam
Thelog splitteris shippedwith the beamin thevertical
position.
1. Pull outthe verticalbeamlock, rotateit back,and
pivotthe beamto the horizontalpositionuntil it locks.
See Figure3-3.
2. Disconnectthe dislodgerfrom the beamweld bracket
Figure 3=2
by removingthe six hex screws.See Figure3-4.
3. Disconnectthe log cradlefrom the beamon the side
of the controlvalve.See Figure3-5.
