Pivot Points & Linkage
Lubricateall thepivot pointson the drivesystemand lift linkageat
leastonce a seasonwith lightoil.
Rear Wheels
The rearwheelsshouldbe removed from the axles oncea season.
Lubricatethe axles and rim hubswellwith an all-purposegrease
beforereinstalling them.
Front Wheels
Eachof the frontwheelaxles and castersis equippedwith a grease
fitting.See Figure18.Lubricate with a No.2 multi-purposegrease
appliedwith a greasegun after every 50 hoursof moweroperation.

BLADE TIMING BELT
The cuttingdeck spindlesare drivenby a timing(cogged)belt,
assuringthat the deck bladesare alwaysperpendicular t o eachother.
At leastoncea season,or after strikingany foreignobject,checkthe
timing beltas follows:
1. Removethe beltcover by removingthethree screwsand washers
which secureit to the frame.See Figure19.
Donot operatemowerwithoutthe belt coverinstalled.Failureto fol-
low this instructioncould resultin personalinjuryor propertydamage.
