Wall or CeilingMounting- The applianceshould be mountedto a
wallor ceiling only as recommended by the manufacturer.

position doesnot interferewith its properventilation. Forexample,
the applianceshould not be situatedon a bed,sofa, rug, or similar
surface that may block the ventilation openings; or, placed in a
built-in installation, s uch as a bookcaseor cabinetthat may impede
theflow of air throughtheventilationopenings.

Heat - Theappliance should be situated away from heatsources
such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances

Section810 of theNationalElectric Code,ANS]/NFPA No. 70-1984,
providesinformationwith respect t o propergrounding of themats
and supportingstructuregroundingof the lead-in wire to an
antenna discharge unit,sizeof groundingconnectors, location of
antenna-dischargeunit, connection to grounding electrodes and
requirements forthe grounding e lectrode. SeeFig.below.
15. Non-usePeriods - The powercordof the applianceshould be
unplugged f rom the outletwhen left unused for a long periodof
time.
16. Objectand Liquid Entry - Careshould be takensothat objectsdo
not fall and liquidsare not spilled into the enclosurethrough
openings.
17. DamageRequiring Service- Theapplianceshould be serviced by
qualified s ervicepereonnet when:
A. Thepowersupply cordor theplughasbeen damaged; or
B. Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled into the
appliance; or
C. Theappliance h asbeenexposed to rain;or
D. Theappliancedoesnot appear to operatenormally or exhibits
a markedchange in performance; o r
E.
Theappliancehasbeendropped,orthe enclosure damaged.
18. Servicing- The user should not attemptto servicethe appliance
beyond that described in the operating instructions. All other
servicingshouldbe referredto qualifiedservicepersonnel.
