How to Remove Protective Shipping Film and
Packaging
Tape
Carefully graspa cornerofthe protective Toensureno damageis doneto the finish
shippingfilm with your fingersand slowlypeel of the product,the safestway to remove
it from the appliancesurface.Donot useany the adhesive from packagingtapeon new
sharpitemsto removethefilm. Remove all of appliances is an applicationof a household
the film beforeusingthe appliancefor the first liquid dishwashing detergent.Applywith
time. a soft clothand allowto soak.
NOTE; Theadhesive mustbe removedfrom
all parts.It cannot be removedif it is bakedon.
Control Knobs

Makesurethe knobsare in the OFFpositions
and pullthem straightoff the stemsfor
cleaning.
Theknobscan be cleanedin a dishwasheror
they may alsobe washedwith soapand water.
Makesurethe insideof the knobsare dry
beforereplacing.
Replace the knobs,in the OFFpositionto
ensureproperplacement.
Control Panel
It'sa good ideato wipethe control panelafter
eachuseof the oven.Usea damp clothto
cleanor rinse.Forcleaning, u semildsoapand
water or a 50/50solutionof vinegarand water.
Forrinsing, u secleanwater.Polish dry with a
softcloth.
Do not useabrasivecleansers, strong liquid
cleaners,plasticscouringpadsor ovencleaners
on thecontrol panel-they willdamagethe
finish.
Painted Surfaces
Paintedsurfaces includethe sidesof the range
and thedoor,top of controlpaneland the
drawerfront. Cleanthesewith soapand water
or a vinegarand water solution.
Do not usecommercialovencleaners, c leaning
powders,steelwoolor harshabrasives on any
paintedsurface.
Stainless Steel Surfaces tonsome models)
Do not use a steel wool pad; it will
scratch the surface.
To clean the stainless steel surface, use
warm, sudsy water or a stainless steel
cleaner or polish. Always wipe the surface
in the direction of the grain. Follow the
cleaner instructions for cleaning the
stainless steel surface.

Porcelain Enamel Cooktop Ionsome models)
The porcelain enamel finish is sturdy but
breakable if misused. This finish is acid-
resistant. However,any acidic foods spilled
(such as fruit juices, tomato or vinegar)
should not be permitted to remain
on the finish.
If acids spill on the cooktop while it is hot,
use a dry paper towel or cloth to wipe it up
right away. When the surface has cooled,
wash with soap and water. Rinsewell.
Forother spills such as fat spatterings,
wash with soap and water or cleansing
powders after the surface has cooled.
Rinsewell. Polishwith a dry cloth.
