Diagnosis
Voltage applied to the
REM terminal is not be-
tween 10.5 and 15.5
volts or there is no volt-
age present.
Voltage to the B+ termi-
nal is not between 10.5
and 15.5 volts or there
is no voltage present.
EPX
is not properly

grounded.
Source is not properly
selected.
Signal from source is not
connected or function-
ing properly.
When using the BLT,
Balanced Line Input
from BLT is not con-
nected or not function-
ing properly.
RDAT is not processing
information correctly.
RDAT cable is not fully
connected.
Microprocessor is
scrambled.

Remedy
Check the alternator, bat-
tery, fuse, and wiring and
repair as necessary. If the
voltage is above 15.5 volts,
have the electrical system
inspected by an authorized
car service center.

Check Preamp Source and
select the corresponding
source input.

depressed on the RDAT.
Check cable connection and
correct if necessary.
Disconnct power to the EPX
then reconnect.
