Adjustment
1.
Place the snowblower on a level
surface. (For track-type
snowblowers, step on the foot
pedal, and set the auger in the
middle position.)
2.
Loosen the skid shoe bolts and
adjust the skid shoes to obtain the
auger ground clearance for snow
conditions recommended below.
Adjust the right and left skid
shoes equally. Retighten the bolts
securely.
AUGER GROUND CLEARANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
Ordinary snow conditions
Smooth, ice-covered surfaces
Rough or uneven surfaces
Operation on rough or uneven surfaces with less than the
recommended auger ground clearance can damage the snowblower.
3.
Loosen all the nuts and bolts
holding the scraper, and adjust the
scraper to the specified ground
clearance. Retighten the nuts and
bolts securely.

4.
Inspect the scraper. Replace the
scraper if it is excessively worn.
