Installation of Disk Drive
For operating system like Windows 2000 / Windows XP / Windows
Vista / Windows 7, no driver have to be installed.

2.6. Partition and Format of disk drive

NOTE:
The product can't be recognized by the PC if an unformated hard
disk is used. Please partition and format the hard drive first before
using it.
Please note, that every partitioning and formatting will delete all
data of the hard driver.
To ensure the stability, partitioning and formating under Windows
2000/Windows XP/Windows Vista /Windows 7 is recommended.

A．Startup the operating system and make sure that the system is
working in the normal status.
