Adjusting the Handset Ringer, Earpiece and
Speaker Volume
Handset ringer vo[ume
Press the votume up key or votume down key ([abeted as _/
VO[/A or /_/vo[/v in standby mode to setect one of three
ringer votume (off, tow, or high).
Earpiece and speaker volume
Pressing the votume up key or votume down key ([abeted as
J_/VOI/A or &/vol/v key) during a cat[ wit[ change the
earpiece volume of the handset. This setting wi[[ remain in
effect after the telephone ca[[ has ended.
O hen you press votume up key (ring/vol/A) in the maximum volume [eve[ or volume down key
(ring/rally) in the lowest volume [eve[, an error tone sounds.
Ringer Mute
You can temporarily mute the incoming ring. When the handset is off the cradle and the
phone is ringing, press end. The incoming ring wi[[ return to the previous setting starting
with the next incoming ca[[.
Standby Mode - The
handset is not in use
and talk/flash has not
been pressed.
