You cau connect your catncorder to the input.jack of a TV or a VCR using the A/V cennectiug
cable ([_) or the A/V connectittg cable with S VIDEO ([_). Cotntect your camcorder to the
wall outlet using the supplied AC Adapter lk_r this operatiott/p. 12). Refer also to the
instruction manuals supplied with the devices to be connected.

The Hmldycam Station and your camcorder
arc both equipped with A/V OUT jacks (p. 92,
93). Connecl the A/V connecting cable either
to the Handycam Station or to your
camcorder, depending on your selup,
[] A/V connecting cable with S
VIDEO (optional)
When connecting to another dex ice via the S
VIDEO jack, by using the A/V connecting
cable with an S VIDEO cable, pictures can be
reproduced more laitlffully than wilh lhe
supplied A/V cable connection.
Connect lhe while and md plugs (lelt/rigla
audio) and S VIDEO plug (S VIDEO
channel) of an A/V connecling cable. In this
case, the yellow (slandard video) plug
connectkm is not necessary. S VIDEO
connection only will not output audio.
tO Notes
• Do not connecl A/V connecting cubles to both
lhe Handycam Station and your camcorder al
file same thl/e, as hnage dislurbance may occur.

PANEL] (p. 52).
When connecting your camcorder to a
TV through a VCR
Connect your c:uncerder to the LINE IN
input on the VCR. Set the input selector on
the VCR to LINE (VIDEO 1. VIDEO 2.
etc. k if the VCR has an input selector.
